- ANIMA Hilfe für Tiere e. V. is a German society for the prevention of cruelty to animals, arisen from the Southern European animal welfare initiative ANIMA MADEIRA, where leadoff castration activities were being funded by private assets of Ursula and Manfred Rossa. The agony of the stray she-dogs on Porto Santo and Madeira Island still remains one of the basic aims of the animal welfare actions of ANIMA Hilfe für Tiere e.V. A cat reception station has been supported and up to now four castration campaigns for cats and dogs together with German and Portuguese veterinarians have been organised and funded since the foundation of ANIMA Hilfe für Tiere e.V. by way of member recruitment and donation. Furthermore, ANIMA Hilfe für Tiere e.V. also supports the Polish society for the prevention of cruelty to animals in Oppeln (Upper Silesia), which is distinguished by its special and active animal welfare work.
- ANIMA Hilfe für Tiere e.V. was founded on 1.1.1999 and is approved highly eligible..
- All committee members and active supporters are honorary workers.
- Even he least you can do counts a lot if you only save a creature from pain, balefulness and fear!
